This morning started with this beautiful sunrise. My neighbor also caught a picture from her window.

The day went on to include going to Bible study at Victory, our study being in Titus. We had a good tableful of folks but were still missing a few regulars. Lucy treated us to doughnuts, as she has determined the first Thursday of the month is hers to treat!
I had thought that Terri would be available to meet for lunch but she had other plans. It would have worked nicely since I had to be back over in Argyle by 2:00 pm. I was glad to have a chance to close my eyes for a bit after getting home from Victory before going to my next appointment. Every six months I need to meet with Frank, a financial advisor, to review my investments, etc. Sometimes I can do this over the phone but this time I needed to go in the flesh. Today we talked about cars and my wanting to get a new one. He is a 'car guy' and has a brother in the business in S.FL. Always makes for an interesting visit!
I met Terri and OJ for dinner tonight at Cracker Barrel. We enjoyed our time together and our delicious meals. Had a good experience at the table next to ours, generosity displayed to an elderly couple. Puts smiles on our faces, and tears in my eyes.
Now I am home and watching O'Reilly before the debates start. Justin doesn't think he can stay up to watch them with me, but can tune in from the comfort of his bed. I hope I can hang in to the bitter end. It's riveting stuff these days!
