Up and running!

Well, my new Internet connection is complete and I am officially on-line through ATT/Bellsouth. Please use my gmail address for sending mail, as I can access that from anywhere in the world. No longer can I answer my house phone, it will ring for you but not here. I am cell phone stand alone!

It seems to be faster than Comcast was, moving between screens and sites with barely a delay. Earlier I watching some clips on youtube, "Seinfeld", of course, and it played from beginning to end without any streaming pauses. For those of you who understand what that is, you'll appreciate why this is so wonderful!

For my late lunch, I finished off my bbq ribs along with a helping of potatoes and corn. For breakfast, I joined the president of our Palace Association Board at Honey B's to go over some documents she needs edited. She's given me carte blanc in how I rephrase but keeping the essence of the points she wishes to make. We have an Owners' meeting next week so I should be at work on this project, word intensive, but also wanted to let y'all know that I'm up and running at my window again! I still have the laptop as a back-up but file sharing was a pain in the neck, moving it back and forth on the thumb drive, etc. Life's simple pleasures are enjoyed in #304!!!

Yesterday I spent some wonderful time with my friends at Great Hang Ups, making a purchase plus picking up some work done for my neighbor, Ellen. She has been feeling poorly, only recently getting out of the hospital after undergoing a battery of tests. She's sleeping alot, according to Billy, but she told me to come up and bring her framed piece. So, in a moment, I'll get my shoes on and head her way. Next weekend is an art and ceramics show featuring Julia and Mike's pottery so I am going to help her haul her stuff to the show place Saturday and then spend some time, not necessarily as hostess, but as guest, on Sunday.

Tracy, from downstairs, mentioned that she'd like to see "An American Carol" so we might find some time in the coming days to squeeze in a trip to the theater. Her hubby is due back tonight, he's a pilot, and he wants to see it, too, so we might have a group going. Tonight is cropping at church and Sunday I am planning on having some friends over to play "Seinfeld Trivia" with me. We have to work around the football game which starts late this week so will have to see how we want to do this. I am sooooooooooooo excited to have Paul mop the floor with me!!!!!
