No longer on the river and, again, an empty nester. Back to living on Fleming Island and making some more friends!

Photos from the Tea

Jackie really enjoyed the tea event at Basketique, this was truly 'her cup of tea'!
The room where we were served our tea. My bro-in-law wondered if this was someone's home, thinking it was decorated quite gawdily
Judy C. and I at the table. I fear this tea room made me look fat!
Another course was served, the food just kept on coming!
Here is a shot of the room as we were served  the second round of sandwiches. One was made with raisin bread, a spread of pumpkin and cream cheese, and then rolled in chopped pecans. Oh, yes!
Terri was a good sport and drank a spot of tea before all five of us ladies ordered Diet Cokes!

Okay, folks, stand by...

Those of you who read this blog might also follow me on Facebook and know I am having terrible problems with my e-mail. At least I can still access it from this laptop as long as I do not close gmail. Sometimes upgrades come when the computer is shut down or does so automatically. If I suddenly drop off the face of the earth, seemingly, it's because I lost this computer's access.

Blogger (blogspot) is run through my e-mail account so if I am unable to get into it, I am unable to post. Facebook is independent of the Google account so at least I will have that.

I could get a new e-mail address but what a nightmare that will be. This morning I filled out a form which Google sent through Justin's e-mail so I could fill it out, send them $3.00 and they will try to help me. Obviously they cannot simply take my word for it but if I could just look into someone's face and plead my case, it could be fixed chop chop.

It is all my fault for not remembering what I changed my passcode to about 10 days ago or so. I was getting deluged with SPAM, horrible stuff, and thought changing the passcode would filter that for me. Not so, and now I have a problem. There is not a way to grab the passcode from this laptop, unfortunately.

Much takes place via my gmail account such as bill notifications, account info from the banks and investment companies, many many things interact with the e-mail, other than simple communications. We are held prisoner by our electronics and are made to look like fools when we forget important information like our passcodes!

If Google cannot help me, then I must change my account name and start over new, which is a huge inconvenience. I took a screen shot of my contact list so I can recoup that if lost, but will have to retype them all in again. More cleaning will take place, I suspect. I copy/pasted e-mails into a Word document and hope I didn't miss anything or anyone. Yikes!

Push comes to shove, you can reach me via my cell phone or on Facebook. Or write me a letter. Some of my friends say they keep a list of their passcodes at their desks but I did not do that, so now, I have a big headache and a tummy ache over not remembering the passcode!

I will keep you posted, some way or another, if I have to change my blog address and all that stuff. This does nothing but make me feel frustrated, impatient, and a little foolish---no, lots foolish!
