Thursday afternoon I went out to the pool, later in the afternoon, thinking the clouds would clear and I could enjoy the sun for a bit. No sooner did I join some of my nice neighbors in the pool than did it cloud over and drop huge rain drops on us. We scurried like ants back to The Palace, and before we were inside, the rain had ended. Ugh!
Friday I went out about 11:30 and stayed there until late afternoon, hanging out with Lee and some others. Originally I had planned to return later for the social gathering around the pool, but was not inspired to get clothes on again. Plus, I was going to be watching football all night long!!
Justin subscribed with Jesse to a website offering all of the NFL pre-season football games. He got me all fixed up so that I could watch the Packer game LIVE while also watching the Jaguar game on TV. I was the ultimate multi-tasker, though I do hope there is not a test on the games, because I would fail miserably. Just as my two teams did!! Both lost, which made me sad, but I am so very glad to have football back again!!!
Justin came home from work, showered, and then turned around to meet Jesse for their shared ride to the game. They were meeting Jesse's girlfriend part way to downtown after she was done working. They sure pack a lot into a day. Justin told me the game was so sad that they left at the end of the 3rd quarter and went to Miller's Ale House. The game was over by the time they got there, so they were spared the bitter end.
....and yes, I know, it's only the pre-season!
