Wonderful gifts

Late afternoon, right in the midst of my watching The Five with Linda, Nancy W. called that she was coming over for a bit. Linda excused me, as I was sure she would. Nancy brought me some items she'd set aside for me from the estate sale held the past few days at her dad's house. At long last, over 2 years since he died, the house is nearly empty and is listed to be sold.  Already the Realtor has had some repeat viewers which is awesome news!
Nancy presented me with this sun catcher which was hand-made stained glass in amber. This was her dad's. The little book about Psalm 23 belonged to her mother. I am so moved by this, that Nancy would pick out these items from her parent's belongings and think, "This is good for Kim..." That just means everything to me! When I showed it to Justin he asked me if that was lead, and I told him it was. He said, "Just don't suck on it..." That is always good advice! He is so darn funny.
God gifted us with these gorgeous clouds!

While she was here, we took photos of the setting sun and how lovely it made the clouds look across the river. It had been a rainy day following another rainy day so this sight was most welcome. We had enough rain in the area that Justin did not have to go to work today, but now has to work on Friday instead to make up for it. Some areas in Mayport had 9-11" including some flooding of apartments causing people to evacuate. Ridiculous with this rain since summer. I don't believe OP got that much but it was enough that the yards would have been nothing but mush which is not good for the heavy mowers. Hoping for better weather the rest of the week!
