This morning I did a soda run to Walgreen's as they have Diet Coke at 4/$10. That is the good news. The less than good news is that they don't carry the decaffeinated type I prefer. Instead I got four regular diet Cokes for Justin and for the party. It's hard to go into a drug store or hardware store and come out with only one item. I found a giant chocolate coin to give Justin as a stocking stuffer plus picked up an outdoor extension cord for my neighbor, Kay, as she lamented not being able to locate hers. I fixed her up!
When I was in Manty, I mentioned to someone that I was glad the chocolate Santas didn't come the way my favorite Easter candy does---dark chocolate and coconut cream. Yikes! What did I find today? Yes, the same company which makes the Easter eggs also makes Christmas candies in my favorite flavor. Only took three when my impulse was to take the entire box full, because, as the expression goes, Stover is 'mighty proud' of their candy.
