A couple of photos

This morning when I got up, I went to the kitchen to see where Kerry was since the family room was abandoned. It would seem she is outside, fishing, at the moment. She peeled the coating from her leftover cooked shrimp last night and put them in the freezer to use as bait today. Hopefully she meets someone out there to talk to or will simply enjoy her time by the river with the fishing poles and shrimp! The roses brought by Shari yesterday late in the day have opened and looked just lovely this morning. Some are still buds so might open as the day goes by. They certainly do brighten a room just by showing up!

On Saturday morning I reported the pretty sunrise, how ruby red the sun was as it broke the horizon. In my posting I hoped it presented as well in the photo as it did in real life, but it seems, it did not. The photo simply does not do it justice but you can see how still it was on the river when this picture was snapped. Where the sun showed up nicely or not, it was the morning of the day Kerry arrived and that's all that mattered!
