PF Chang for lunch

Since Justin was off from work for the day, we were able to go to lunch after Bible study at the Town Center Mall, as he would say, "...like old times..." I chose PF Chang and we were able to sit out on the porch despite the rain. We at first waited in the car for the rain to let up, only took a few minutes and it was over. Typical for Florida!

My entree came with a choice of soup, which I really didn't want so Justin was going to eat the hot 'n sour soup. When it came, I tasted and found it tasty. There were little square things floating in the broth, which Justin told me was chicken. I ate it and the cube fell all apart with no chewing. He lied to me---it was tofu! Liar! But, it was still tasty and he enjoyed two bowls of such soup, plus pork dumplings. I had one of those which I found tasted okay but not delicious. But, at least, I tried them! I do love fried crabmeat wontons, and can make a meal of those.

Justin had a spicy chicken entree which made us laugh because he was having to mop his brow with the napkin. It brought to mind the "Seinfeld" episode when George ate the General Tso's Chicken and then looked guilty at a meeting where someone is accused of stealing from the Yankee's. Constantly mopping his brow, sweating all over...made George look like he was the thief. Everything is Seinfeld! ("I thought you took a shower." "I did, but it didn't take...")

Justin used my car to run some errands, including taking his loose change to Vystar to get it cashed out. He had wanted me to do it for him, and I agreed, but then he 'changed' his mind, since the containers of change were so heavy. When I saw all his quarters I told him his grandma would love to have those for her washer and dryer.

He is also taking on the role of obtaining and maintaining our soda supply. He stopped at Walgreen's to get some Diet Coke for us. It's my job to take the empty cans down to the recycling every couple of days. It's funny because I use the empty cardboard cases to take the cans down stairs. More than once folks have asked me how I can carry those heavy cases the way I do, not realizing the cans are empty. Must look like a powerhouse to them!

In looking through the first of clothes bags from Suzanne S., I found two long dresses which will work for wearing after coming in from the pool. Of course, they are both too long for me, but I think I can shorten them at the shoulders, in a cheesy fashion, which doesn't matter since only those in my home with see them. Pins, anyone??? Justin said I should wear them out if I want to, and look like Grandma Lucile. Um, thanks, Justin.....sassy boy!
