No longer on the river and, again, an empty nester. Back to living on Fleming Island and making some more friends!

I am exhausted this morning

No, I slept, no problem with that. What makes me feel so weary after a fairly good night's sleep? Going on vacation! It seemed like all night long, but science says it probably was only a few moments, I was dreaming about going on vacation and taking half the city with me! Even people I am no longer married to, which moves it from "dream" into a whole 'nother venue.....
*
In the dream, I was taking a trip oversees (from now on will probably be only a dream, I'm afraid) and, as dreams go, Justin, Mom, Lori (my sister) and her family, Alayna (my niece), some strangers who are going to be sharing quarters with us somehow, and my former spouse, who was still my spouse in the dream. Justin lived with his friends at this time, part of the complicating factors in this dream, as we had to collect him from his apartment, and then go back to the apartment instead of going to the airport because he'd forgotten his passport. On the way to his apartment he also reported that he needed to drop his car off at the dealership for some work, and I remember saying, "Can't your friends bring the passport to the airport for you???". Of course, he defended them by saying they had to get to work or had other plans, typical for this group. Ugh! I recall saying more than once, "Your father is going to have a fit!" about the delays.
*
In the meantime, it occurred to me that I only packed one pair of pants in my luggage and we'd certainly need more than one change of clothes for the trip plus stuff for formal night, so I was in my present day closet, yanking clothes off the hangers and shoving them into my suitcase. (Must be a reflection of my recent unpacking plus reading about my friend, Jami's, recent cruise!)
*
As we were in line to be frisked and such at the airport, it came to light that my niece, Alayna, had no passport!! How this only became apparent at the departure gate rather than through the months of planning is true dream material, but I had to very sadly tell her how sorry I was, she couldn't go. (This probably is because Alayna was supposed to go on a trip to France with her French class next spring but now she is not able to go, which makes her very very sad.) At this point, my sister, Lori, who was going to room with Alayna, declares she is NOT going to room with the strangers who are joining our group, she doesn't like them already.............Why she wouldn't be staying with her own family is, again, dream material.
*
Did we make the trip? Where were we going? Did Mom have a good time? We will never know, but I do know I was extremely stressed trying to herd cats, or in this case, get a group of people away on vacation, when the phone rang................Dream over!

Those kind of dreams make me crazy! I was blogging all night long, and I am flat worn out!

Oh, that is so funny! Your brain must be working overtime, writing your blog for you while you sleep! Perhaps science will come up with a way to transfer to words what our brain is doing when it's supposed to be at rest!

Have a great day!

Hi Judy!

Don't you just wonder what that is all supposed to mean? Perhaps wild horses can't stop you from planning another trip to FLORIDA!!!!!

Hugs,
